It's not only bees that are attracted to the peony! We garden with wildlife in mind, and oh how we are rewarded.

I love this time of the year. The peony is in full bloom. The flowers are show stoppers but not for the bees who continue to work while laden. The gentle hum is amazing.

Some lovely spring colour on our hike today. I think these are wild anemones growing on the verges up in the hills.
