Askew is a beanie, to which you can add extra slouch. It uses slipped stitches and changes in the stitch pattern to create a textured pattern that spirals around the hat. You have the option of a plain edge to the brim, a contrast edge or a rolled edge.

Gauge
20 sts x 40 rows to 10 cm x 10cm (4 in x 4 in) in shifting brick main pattern worke=d on the larger needle after blocking

Needles & Materials
3.75 mm (US 5) short circular or dpns for brim
4.0 mm (US 6) short circular for the body and dpns for the crown decreases
Tapestry needle for sewing in ends.
