Mimizan
€6
Mimizan was inspired by the large cones of the maritime pine trees in the forests around Mimizan in the Aquitaine region of France.
The Mimizan is a beanie worked in two colours of aran weight yarn using a fun combination of slipped travelling stitches to create the zig zag effect. while that may sound a little complicated, it’s really not and you are only ever using one colour at a time.
It’s an interesting quick knit, ideal for gifts and in smaller sizes, ideal for using up left overs from other projects.
