Buddha’s Knot

Buddha’s Knot is a simple classic ribbed tea cosy designed to be a fun simple quick knit.

The cosy is knitted in one piece to avoid unnecessary finishing and sewing up at the end.

Worked in the round bottom up, the cosy is then split to work each side separately to make openings for the handle and spout. It is then rejoined to continue working in the round.

This cosy can be knitted using either Aran or Bulky weight yarns.

You need approximately 95m of the main yarn and 45m of the contrast yarn. The pattern also gives a breakdown of yarn requirements if you want to do each contrast stripe a different colour.
